About
It began with these three rules
Rule 1: No internet at home.
Rule 2: No internet usage except Gmail and WordPress.
Rule 3: No gchat
And this cheesy tag line:
This is my (slightly) oxymoronic blog journaling my life (essentially) without internet.
As far as I could remember, I had always been addicted to the internet. Tired of all the time I wasted, the blog was conceived as a feeble attempt to see what life without internet would be like. But a few months in, I realized it ought to be about something more.
As a Christian, my fundamental desire is to enjoy God and to please Him with all my life. With this in mind, I thought it prudent to examine what trajectory my routine and daily behaviors (like using the internet) placed me on. And if the internet exerted more control over me, than I over it, I wanted to examine why. Not just change my behavior and abide by simplistic rules (which do help, nevertheless).
So this is not a self-improvement blog, but rather a critical examination of the internet through a Christian worldview and an attempt to reconnect myself with the things that matter most.

I admire your honesty!
